SOUTH BURLINGTON, VT — September 10, 2026 — The South Burlington Business Association (SBBA) welcomed approximately 130 members, business leaders, community partners, and local officials to its annual Summer Mixer on Wednesday evening at Patrick Leahy Burlington International Airport.
Guests had the opportunity to experience the airport’s impressive new terminal and observation deck while connecting with fellow members of the South Burlington business community.
The evening also provided an opportunity for attendees to meet Michael Biama, the new Chair of the South Burlington Business Association, as well as South Burlington’s new Deputy City Manager.
“We were thrilled to welcome such a strong turnout,” said Julie Beatty, Coordinator of the South Burlington Business Association. “The Summer Mixer is really about bringing people together, and the airport’s beautiful new space was a wonderful setting for our members and community partners to connect, meet new people, and learn more about what is happening in South Burlington.”
Representatives from businesses and organizations throughout the community were joined by South Burlington City staff and leadership, City Council members, state legislators, and a representative from the South Burlington Police Department.
SBBA thanks Director of Aviation Nic Longo and the Patrick Leahy Burlington International Airport team for hosting the event and welcoming the South Burlington business community to the airport’s new space.
