South Burlington Business Community Welcomes New Police Chief at SBBA Fall Meeting

Local businesses aim to forge strong partnership with law enforcement

The SBBA brought together business leaders, civic partners, and city officials last night to welcome the city’s new Police Chief, William Breault, during the SBBA Fall Member Meeting hosted at OnLogic. The gathering highlighted the business community’s commitment to strengthening communication and collaboration with local law enforcement.

SBBA Board Chair Roland Groeneveld kicked off the meeting by welcoming members and

guests and emphasizing the value of strong connections between the business community, city

leadership, and law enforcement.

City Manager Jessie Baker provided key updates on municipal priorities and introduced Chief

Breault, inviting him to share his vision for a community-focused police department. Chief

Breault addressed the group about the importance of strong working relationships with the

business sector and expressed his eagerness to partner with South Burlington employers to

support safety and well-being across the city.

Members also heard from South Burlington Food Shelf Director Peter Carmolli, who expressed

appreciation for SBBA’s ongoing support and encouraged participation in the organization’s

annual Food Shelf Initiative—an effort the SBBA hopes will see 100% member participation this

season.
